A cesspool (or cesspit as it is commonly called) is a temporary container in which sewage and other refuse can be held. Because the contents cesspool emptying must be carried out frequently to prevent any build-up of solid waste.
Cesspit emptying and Septic tank emptying should be carried out regularly at least once a year. The frequency of this emptying is entirely dependent on the size of the tank and how much waste is held in it.
We recommend a yearly scheduled septic tank emptying, cesspool emptying and cleaning of the tank container.
Doing this you will prolong the functional life of your septic tank and reduce the probability of blocked drains and pipes. We have serviced and emptied all types and sizes nationwide from large industrial sites through to small domestic properties.
In the past, septic tanks were the cheapest option for sewage treatment. There was no regulation on the design of the soakaway. This is no longer the case, as sewage treatment plant systems usually cost thousands less than a septic tank and soakaway drainfield built to current Building Regulation standards.
There is a huge difference in the purchase prices, installation and running costs of different sewage systems.
NB: Every litre of waste that goes into your Cesspit has to be removed by a tanker as it is a sealed tank.

Dear Sir,
I am writing to thankyou and to thank the young man (I think his name was Bobbie), who responded to a call made by myself on Wednesday evening on the 20th July concerning a blown flexi-hose to hot tap in bathroom.
Although unable to complete the job, he made sure all was left safe and made arrangements to complete the job with one of your plumbers the following morning.
Both were very polite and helpful and completed the job to a very high standard.I will certainly recommend your company to anyone that is in need of assistance with plumbing etc.
Your Sincerely
Mrs. V. Worcester, Chatham
The involvement of DS Serve, at the original behest I believe of the developers themselves, has brought some much needed expertise, and indeed corroboration to some extent in underlining the issues that need addressing...with the willingness to accept DS Serve's initiative, we now appear to be going in the right direction...
Regards,
Mike
