Interceptors should be cleaned and emptied regularly so as to prevent the leakage of any of the accumulated oil, silt, debris or other contaminants into the drainage system. The build up of flammable residues is also a problem necessary to avoid in any environment where the en-masse use of fuel or oil is prevalent. The smallest drop of oil is enough to contaminate vast expanses of fill-drainage and the flow of water.
DS Serve manages a fleet of vacuum tankers providing interceptor cleaning and a vast range of cleaning services.
Following any interceptor clean carried out by DS Services, you will recieve a report detailing any current or potential problems that we find during the cleaning process.
Regular interceptor cleaning (approximately every 6-8 months) will both alleviate the risk of flooding on your forecourt as well as avertiing the potential danger of a build of flammable fluids under your forecourt.
